i know u have 3 periods with me tomorrow which means you'll be free for a very long time. please take this time to do the following:
- read chapters D5 and D6.
- study for spelling test (chap D1-D4)
- study for test (D2, D3, D4)
- finish up your journals for those who have not.
- clean the classroom!! (use mops and rags if have to)

well, whatever you do, make sure it's constructive. Do NOT run around and make too much noise. and please listen to the relief teachers!!

0k, here are the instructions for the holiday homework on LMS.

1. you can either print it out to do, or do first then print it out.
2. towards the end of the holidays, i'll post up answers. so you use a green pen to mark and do your corrections.
3. file it up - in your contents page, write date: june08, item: holiday homework(mass), remarks: your score (eg. 13/25)

I love my mum, do you?

mother's day is coming up. made something for her or saved up for something for her yet?


My mom only had one eye.. I hated her...
she was such an embarrassment.
She cooked for students & teachers to support the family.

There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me.
I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me?
I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.

The next day at s chool one of my classmates said, 'EEEE,your mom only has one eye!'
I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear.
I confronted her that day and said, ' If you're only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don't you just die?'
My mom did not respond...
I didn't even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger.
I was oblivious to her feelings.I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her.

So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.
Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own.
I had kids of my own.
I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts,
Then oneday, my mother came to visit me.
She hadn't seen me in years and she didn't even meet her grandchildren.

When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited.
I screamed at her, 'How dare you come to my house and scare my children!' GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!'
And to this, my mother quietly answered, 'Oh, I'm so sorry.I may have gotten the wrong address,' and she disappeared out of sight.

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to myhouse.
So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip.
After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out ofcuriosity.
My neighbors said that she died.
I did not shed a single tear.
They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.

'My dearest! son,I think of you all the time.
I'm sorry that I came to yourhouse and scared your children.
I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion.
But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you.
I'm sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up.
You see........when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye.
As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with one eye.
So I gave you mine.
I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

please remember to bring your PE attire for the day you are scheduled for. and also, have a full recess on that day, ok? no time for lunch at all. if your teacher happens to keep you in for recess detention, remind him/her that you cannot skip recess for that day. everyone must pass, ok? those in sports CCAs, aim for gold!

mission week

hey all

mission week for sec 1s is this week. tuesday and wed is for sec 1/1 to 1/4. thu and friday are for the rest of the classes.

no lessons at all on the 2 days your class is scheduled for.

ie, no need to bring school textbooks.

so all you have to bring are things like your stationery (pen, paper/notebook) and wallet and waterbottle.

have fun :)

adidas colours

i'm thinking of selling my adidas shoes. the one i wore to school a few times before. mostly white with pink stripes. size is US 6.5? around there. selling for $85. bought for $102. around there. anyone might be interested? or know anyone who might be interested? wore it less than 10 times. maybe about 5 times? still very new though it's at least 3 months already. don't wear it very often so thinking of selling. let me know thanks! :)

THE singapore flyer

hey all.... just some information on this big wheel.

In July, all sec 1s would be going on a learning journey there. There might be some preparation lessons the 2 weeks before the actual outing day. tickets have been booked for all of you already! the teachers and 3 students shown in the pictures went there for a guided tour to see how it was like so we could prepare you all for it. it's like a pre-tour. we went in february before the wheel was open to the public

some facts: it's about 42m tall. those scared of heights not to worry cos the capsule is very very stable. :)
